July 24, 2016 – Himalayan Bulbul or White-cheeked Bulbul (Pycnonotus leucogenys)
These bulbuls are found along the Himalayas in northern Pakistan, Nepal, and northeast India and in Bhutan. They eat berries, other fruits, buds, seeds, nectar, and insects. Females probably do most of the nest construction, building a cup of grass and other plant materials, and also most of the incubation. Both parents feed the chicks.
