November 28, 2015 – Racket-tailed Treepie, Black Racquet-tailed Treepie, Black Treepie, or Bronzed Treepie (Crypsirina temia)

Found in Southeast Asia, these birds are in the crow family. Omnivorous, they eat mostly invertebrates and fruit. They spend much of their time foraging in trees using their long tails to help them balance. Females lay between two and four eggs in cup-shaped nests constructed in bamboo or thorny shrubs.
